Whitefield Rising

In response to the Covid crisis, Whitefield Rising in partnership with Dream India Network (DreamIndiaNetwork.net), Motherhood Hospitals(motherhoodindia.com)  Rainbow Hospitals (RainbowHospitals.in), Aahan Vaahan have come together to set up exclusive Quarantine and COVID care centres for children affected and infected by COVID 19.

The following are the arrangements they have planned:

3 Quarantine Centres (QC) for affected children: One separate each for young children, girls, and boys. These centers will accommodate children 6 to 18 years old.

Children’s CCC: To care for COVID infected children who are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic

All four facilities have been given the Fit Facility certificate under sec.51(1) of Juvenile Justice Care and Protection Act, 2015 from the Child Welfare Committee - Bengaluru, Urban. The BBMP has given the Health NOC for the CCC.

Madilu Sevashrama

This is an orphanage in the suburbs of Bangalore. It is currently occupied by 32 children and 10 adults. The Sevashram is struggling with consistently providing required meals to its occupants.

You can help them by donating and sponsoring meals to the Sevashram.

​

The average cost of a meal to the 50 Students and 10 volunteers is -

​

Breakfast - 3000.
Lunch - 4000.
Dinner - 4000.

Total Full day mealy - 10000/-.

Rotary Bangalore IT corridor charitable trust

Families of children in our Government Schools are again facing loss of income due to extended lockdowns and risk of catching infection in this second wave of the COVID pandemic.

We need your help to support them with Rations, Medical kits & other emergencies

Our volunteers are working closely  with the families to identify specific needs and support them.
 
We aim to provide:
-rations by direct payments to grocery stores in their neighbourhood to avoid crowding & risk of virus spread 
and
-medical kits(including oximeter & thermometer)  for home care of COVID positive cases.
 
One month ration for a family of four will cost Rs 2500/- and one medical kit will cost Rs 1500/-. Please click the link below to make your contribution

Drive with
Swabhimaan

With the help of NGO Swabhimaan, founded by Mr. Venkatraman Iyer in 2021, we were able to distribute our milk powder and Saisure supplies to the underprivileged community of Koramangla. We couldn't be more grateful to them to help expand our efforts reach out to more communities in Bangalore at still face the reprecussions of the lockdown.

An orphanage in the outskirts of Bangalore, currently home to 25 children, just received 5kg of soya chunks, 50 packets of Threptin and 50 Wemana bars.

An all girl needbase India orphange near our community, humble abode to 25 girls, just received 5kg soya supplied and 50 packets of Threptin!
